BPC Monthly Club Meeting

Guest Speaker: Speaker: Jeff Belth. "Since the mid-1990s, Mr. Belth's main artistic expression has been through photography, primarily of butterflies. His extensive field work and artistic background eventually led to the production of his book, Butterflies of Indiana: A Field Guidewhich he wrote, designed, and illustrated with his photographs. It was published by the Indiana University Press in November, 2012. The book garnered many positive reviews and accolades, including the 2013 National Outdoor Book Award for best Nature Guidebook." His presentation at our meeting will include discussion of his techniques and equipment, concluding with a selection of his favorite photos. Not to be missed!

L.A.W.N. Focus Group Meeting

L.A.W.N. stands for Landscape, Architectural, Wildlife, and Nature. All L.A.W.N. meetings are on the 2nd Monday of the month unless otherwise announced. We meet in the Monroe County History Center, 202 East 6th St. (Entrance is on N. Washington St.) The parking lot to the northeast of the building is metered but there is no charge after 5:30 p.m. at 7:00 pm. If possible, come a few minutes early to load up photos for the photoshare. At the start of each meeting, prior to the photoshare, we often have a 10-15-minute tech tip and discussion.

In addition to the monthly meetings, we have several outings during the year to places of photographic interest in Indiana and occasionally further afield.
