General Discussion > Is it time to buy a new camera

I have a Nikon D200. When I do indoor photography, I generally use flash, but I like using natural room lighting better when it is possible. I have done this at ISO's up to 1000 with fairly reasonable results in terms of noise. I've heard that sensor technology has improved substantially since the D200. If I did purchase a new high-end Nikon camera, how large of an improvement could I expect in sensor sensitivity? Is the improvement sizable enough to warrant thinking about a new camera?
