The John Sanders Memorial Picnic

 Each year the BPC has a annual fall picnic.

By mandate of the BPC board the picnic will now be called the John Sanders Memorial Picnic, in honor of John Sanders. John was a long time member of the club who died in 2010.

The picnic had been a yearly event, but for some reason we did not have it for several years. John was the driving force behind its resurrection, and managed it for several years. This year the picnic will be held at Strahl Lake in Brown County State Park. October 22, 2011 beginning at 11am. 

This year the club will only provide the grill, charcoal, propane gas, etc. You will need to bring what you want as a main meal, including something to grill if you wish, and a side dish or dessert to share.

You can even bring Spam if you like, always a centerpiece of the picnic when John Sanders was in charge.
