Opening Reception, Friday, January 8, 5:00-8:00 p.m. Pictura Gallery is proud to present this exhibit featuring photographs taken by the homeless community of Bloomington. Malcolm Abrams of Bloom Magazine partnered with Pictura Gallery, Shalom Community Center, and New Hope for Families to raise awareness of the issue of homelessness in Monroe County, and at the same time allow interested participants to take their own look at Bloomington. Volunteers provided cameras and photography lessons. What you will see in this exhibit are the highlights from this creative endeavor, for which the participants were asked, "What Does Bloomington Look Like to Me?" Proceeds from all sales will be split 50% to the photographers and 50% to Shalom Community Center. The exhibit will be up through February 27.
