Hi Macro group!
A few of us braved the rain and wind and headed to Oliver Winery last Thursday
evening. Out there it had stopped raining for awhile, but the wind made taking
macro shots a little tricky. If you missed the event, you might still like to go
out soon and get some shots of the beautiful peony display.
Our next adventure will be June 18th. Pack a sack lunch. We will meet at K-Mart
east at 9:00 a.m. to carpool to T.C. Steele in Brown County. (If you are interested,
there are tours available of the studio & home on the property. Cost for the tour is
$7 for adults, $5 for seniors 60+.) After photographing that area, we will head to
Yellowwood State Forest to have lunch and photography there. This is a place we haven't gone to as a macro group. Not sure what we will find, but woods always supply opportunities.
If we get rained out, we can try on the 19th, however, times would change. T.C.
Steele isn't open until 1:00 on Sundays. So we can meet at 1:00, go to T.C. Steele,
then head to Yellowwood for shooting and an early supper picnic.
Hope a lot of you can put this on your calendar. Thanks to Linda Harl for helping
to organize the event.
See ya,
Nola Donley
