Expense Policies

  1. Stipends for Presenters at Regular Monthly Meetings (Approved by BPC Board of Directors on March 18, 2025)

    For the regular monthly meetings: $150 for a single presenter.   If there are multiple presenters at the same meeting, this money will be divided by the number of presenters.  For example, 2 presenters, $75/each.

    Note: Funded presenters at the regular monthly meetings should be non-Club members. However, if, given special circumstances, an invited presenter at a regular Club meeting is a Club member, they may be awarded a complementary membership for the following year. The presenters at the annual Three Club Members Presentation will not receive payment in any form for presentations to the Club or any other Club activities or responsibilities. Under no circumstances will a member of the BPC Board of Directors receive money or any form of compensation for a Club presentation.

  2. Stipends for Presenters at Focus Group Meetings (Approved on March 18, 2025)

    A Focus Group may have an outside (non-Club member) presenter, at a stipend of $75.  If there is more than 1 presenter this stipend will be divided by the number of presenters.

    Note: Each Focus Group may have no more than one funded outside presenter per year. In a given year, no more than three Focus Groups may have funded presenters, as determined on a first-come, first-served basis.  

  3. Stipends for Jurors of the Annual Juried Exhibit (Approved on March 18, 2025)

    For each of three jurors: $150.  Also $150 to an assistant to help with the jurying process.

    Note: All jurors must be non-Club members and, preferably, represent different different photographic areas of interest.

  4. Refreshments at Exhibit Openings (Approved on March 18, 2025)

    Refreshments will be paid by the Club and will be provided only at the juried exhibit receptions. No funded refreshments will be provided at any other exhibit.

Revenue Policies

  1. Annual Membership Dues will go into effect on April 2, 2025. (Approved on March 18, 2025)

    Individual Membership: $40
    Family Membership: $60
    Student Membership: $15

    Note: Annual Club dues are for the calendar year, January 1 through December 31. If you are a NEW member and join between September 1 and December 31, your membership dues will include the remainder of the current year and all of the following year. For example, September 1, 2024 through December 31, 2025.  If you are RETURNING member and have paid your dues for the current year and renew your membership before the end of the current year, your membership dues will be applied to the following year. For all others, your dues will be applied to the year in which you pay.
