Annual Fall John Sanders Memorial Picnic

Strahl Lake Shelter House, Brown County State Park
 
Grab your camera! Fall colors! Perfect weather! A beautiful environmental setting on a small lake nestled in the Brown County forest.  Don’t miss this annual BPC Fall John Sanders Memorial picnic and outing. It is open to all BPC members and their guests.
 
We have reserved the shelter house for the day, so if you would like to arrive early or stay later that is fine. Gathering for lunch in the shelter house is at 1:00. Because we are moving into the season of flu  and a new strain of Covid, this is a “bring your own food, beverage, plate, and utensils” event. However, if you may if you wish bring a food item to share. 

You can enter by either of the two entrances to Brown County State Park and there will be signs for Strahl Lake. Unless you have a season pass, entry fee per car (with Indiana license plate) is $7.00.
