BPC Photo Review

The next BPC Photo Review will be a chance for BPC members to get feedback on their photography from an impartial, experienced photographic professional. We hope to have an informal discussion primarily on the aesthetics of the images, intended to improve everyone’s photography. This is not a competition and there will be no judging or awards. You’re welcome to submit photos for review or just join to listen and participate in the discussion. The reviewer will be Ryan Jeske from the Photo Venture Club.

You may submit up to five (5) images for review. Send them to Zolt Levay (zgl@me.com) by email or a file-sharing service such as Dropbox no later than Saturday, March 20th, so they can be reviewed before the meeting. Images should be high-quality JPEG, formatted as for BPC photo shares: 1400 pixels in the maximum dimension. At the reviewer’s discretion he may choose to discuss some or all of them.

We will be using the Zoom online meeting platform as we have been for other meetings. You should first download the Zoom app (www.zoom.us) if you have not already done so. It's free. A link to the meeting and instructions on how to join will be sent to you in an email an hour or so before the meeting.

To participate, you can use any internet-enabled device: desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone--although a smart phone is not ideal for viewing photos because of the small screen. Note: If your computer does not have a microphone, Zoom will detect that absence and will give you a list of numbers to call (just use the top one in the list) using your landline or cell, so that you will be able to participate by audio. If your computer does not have a camera, you can still participate--your name will automatically appear on the screen showing the participants, just not your live image.
