Bloomington Farmers Market Pop Up Event

FUG is hosting a popup walkabout at the Bloomington Farmers Market this Saturday 11 May 2024. This event is open to all paid members of the Bloomington Photography Club. This is the weekend for artists and crafters at the market. There should be lots of subjects for us to photograph. 

Here is the Plan.

9:30 a.m.  Meet in front of the Bloomington Antique mall 
10:00 a.m. Take off for photos, Farmers Market, courthouse, blue line, wherever you like
11:30 a.m. If you like, meet at Bub's Burgers and Ice Cream for lunch to talk story

Pop Up Photo Event

Point and Shoot Popup Event (for everyone)

This Saturday, April 13th, there will be an informal 2 hour field trip at Switchyard Park from 11:00. am – 1:00 pm.  This Saturday is the annual Monroe County Master Gardner Fair.  I have never been to one of these events but it sounds like it is well attended and will provide a multitude of photo ops.  Here is a link for you to explore to see if this is something you wish to participate in or not.

You will note that the event will be from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, so if you wish to come early or stay late you can take advantage of their hours.  If you think you’d like to participate this Saturday, please R.S.V.P. me and I will keep an eye out for you.

August Pop-Up Exhibit

This is a self-juried exhibit arranged by the BPC Exhibition Committee. It will be in the Roger’s Room at the Monroe County Convention Center for the entire month of August. Bring your family and friends and enjoy the photos!

Open House will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 5th.

Carol and Robert Kiser invite all BPC members to a pop up photo event at their residence in Bloomfield, Indiana. This is a performance of Chaotik Dreams, a social hour, and a bonfire. Here are more details.
